Applications are being accepted for UpStart Accelerator, an organizational incubator that helps “early-stage, innovative Jewish organizations” develop into “successful, scaleable, Jewish social ventures,” according to a press release.

The three-year program includes staff training, network-building and some funding. “The UpStart curriculum teaches organizations the latest in entrepreneurial tools and mindsets, guided by Jewish wisdom, in order to fuel their success and the growth of their work,” the press release said.

UpStart has offices in San Francisco, Silicon Valley and Chicago. Accelerator alumni in the Bay Area include G-dcast, Urban Adamah and A Wider Bridge, as well as Moishe House, which has several local outposts.

“UpStart was instrumental in guiding Moishe House towards implementing a vision that could open up the door to thousands of young Jews,” Moishe House founder and CEO David Cygielman said.

Applications close Feb. 29 and finalists will be notified in April. For information, go to www.upstartlab.org/accelerator.
