Jewish Gateways, an East Bay open network for Jewish spirituality and learning, will launch a new women’s reflection group this month to discuss important life issues.

The group, which will hold its first meeting at 3 p.m. Feb. 21 in a private Berkeley home, will spend each meeting talking about concerns raised by members, according to Jewish Gateways Rabbi Bridget Wynne. Topics may include passion, power, anger, hope and fear.

“People hunger for really meaningful conversation,” said Wynne. The group, like many of Jewish Gateways offerings, grew out of a conversation with a Gateways participant who wanted to explore women’s issues.

The group is still forming and welcomes new members. The group is not limited to Jews, though it will likely integrate Jewish tradition. Those interested should email Wynne at [email protected] or call her at (510) 410-0622.
