The Federation Fellows, an incubator for rising leaders sponsored by the S.F.-based Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund, is accepting applications for its 2016 program that begins in August.
Fifteen to 20 individuals will be accepted into the two-year program. After an orientation, participants will be placed on the boards of local Jewish organizations and federation committees to learn how nonprofit organizations operate and how boards and committees resolve issues. Fellows also take part in leadership development workshops.
The goal of the program is to attract, train and educate new and emerging leaders for the Jewish community. Applicants must be in their late 20s to early 40s and exhibit dedication to training and education, as well as a passion for supporting Jewish life.
Applications are due May 6. For more information, call Molly Stern at (415) 512-6260 or see jewishfed.org/news/blog/developing-next-generation-leaders-jewish-community.
