The 2016 National Young Leadership Summer Mission to Israel will feature meetings with Israeli leaders in business, government, technology and the military, plus an inside look at Israel’s economy, the food and wine culture and art and architecture.

The primary goal of the July 4-10 trip, sponsored by the Jewish Federations of North America, is to provide firsthand experience of the impact of the federations on the lives of Israelis through site visits, tours and hands-on service projects. Participants will spend two days in Tel Aviv, two days in northern Israel and three days in Jerusalem.

Young adults ages 22 and older are eligible for the trip, which costs $2,599 plus airfare. Subsidies of $2,000 are available.

“We’d like to see a large cohort from the Bay Area take part in this national trip,” said Sharon Siegel of the Young Adults Division of the S.F.-based Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund. “It’s a great way to create bonds and build community.”
