‘Lord, Get Me High.’ A who’s-who of Bay Area Jewish music will gather to celebrate the work of the late Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach. Creative interpretations of melodies by “the singing rabbi” will be performed by Yiddish folk singer Anthony Mordechai Tzvi Russell, vocalist Jewlia Eisenberg of Charming Hostess, guitarist Jeremiah Lockwood of the Sway Machinery, oud player John Erlich of Safra, and Veretski Pass’ Joshua Horowitz, who plays accordion, cimbalon and piano.
