Join family, friends and fellow congregants for a night at the ballpark as the two Major League baseball teams in the Bay Area each celebrate Jewish Heritage Night.

The Oakland Athletics’ sixth such celebration will be held Aug. 9 against the Baltimore Orioles. The game starts at 7:05 p.m. at the Oakland Coliseum. A pregame event will include live entertainment in the East Side Club, and special-event ticket holders will receive a free falafel sandwich, non-alcoholic drink and a Jewish Heritage Night A’s blanket.

The San Francisco Giants will face the Arizona Diamondbacks on Aug. 30 in their 12th annual Jewish Heritage Night. The game, at 7:15 p.m. at AT&T Park, will be preceded by a pregame party at 5 p.m. on Terry Francois Boulevard with live music, food and beverage specials and Jewish-themed Giants hats for people holding a special-event ticket.
