The JCC of the East Bay is hosting its first Hanukkah Art and Service Fair, featuring everything from latkes to what the organization claims is the “earliest candlelighting of the season.”

The fair, at which celebrants will “learn, eat and laugh in preparation for this year’s Festival of Lights,” is scheduled for 3 p.m. Dec. 11 at the JCC’s Berkeley branch at 1414 Walnut St. In addition to perusing art and gift items, participants can learn about community service opportunities. The fair is presented in partnership with Camp Tawonga, Berkeley Congregation Netivot Shalom, Be’chol Lashon, Kevah and Jewish Gateways.

Entry is $12 for adults, $6 for kids up to 12 years old and free for children under 2.
