Staff | December 9, 2016 “Chrismukkah,” a Hanukkah and Christmas story slam, will take place at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 20 in San Francisco. People are encouraged to tell their holiday-themed personal stories at the event, organized by InterfaithFamily in partnership with The Moth radio show and podcast. This year Hanukkah begins at sundown Dec. 24, Christmas Eve. Open to adults 21 and up, the event will be held at Public Works, 161 Erie St. Tickets go on sale at noon Tuesday, Dec. 13. Since its launch in 1997, The Moth has presented thousands of stories, told live and without notes, according to its website. Tickets to the S.F. event are expected to go quickly.
