Weddings

Dina Jacobs and Randy Bauwens married at the Palm Event Center in the Vineyard in Pleasanton on Feb. 4, 2017. The wedding was a beautiful combination of Jewish, Christian and Russian traditions representing the couple and their families.

Dina, daughter of Michael Jacobs and Rachel Jacobs, who has held positions at the Bureau of Jewish Education, followed in her mother’s footsteps by working in the Bay Area Jewish community at the Jewish Community Federation and the Oshman Family JCC. Randy, son of Don z”l and Lori Bauwens of Iowa, has been the assistant general manager at the Bohemian Club for the past nine years.

After a weekend celebrating their love with friends and family, Randy and Dina packed up their San Francisco home, honeymooned in Hawaii and moved to Highland Park on the North Shore of Chicago, where Randy accepted a position at Exmoor Country Club. While they don’t recommend having such a hectic month, they are very excited for all the new chapters in their life as they embark on this journey of life together.
