It is with great pleasure that Ricki and Zvi Alon of Los Altos Hills announce the birth of their granddaughter, Zoe Lev Birnkrant, born March 16, 2017 to parents Dorielle and Reuven Birnkrant. The name Zoe was adapted many years ago by Greek Jews from the name Eve; it means life, and was given to her in honor of Reuven’s late grandmother. Her middle name Lev means heart. A baby naming reception will be held July 23 in Los Angeles, where the family resides.
