Jack was born and lived in Oakland until moving to Walnut Creek 22 years ago. He was owner of Jack’s Loan Office, a fixture in old downtown Oakland for 40 years. He was active throughout his life in the B’nai B’rith Youth Organization and B’nai B’rith as a member, softball player/coach and advisory board member. Jack is survived by his wife of 65 years and the love of his life Arlene, and his children Debra (Louis), David (Jean) and Diane (Darrell). Papa will be so fondly remembered by his adoring grandchildren Alexandra (Matt), Rebecah (Tyler), Joshua (Sally) and Samuel. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Peter (Lois) and all six of his nephews and nieces. J. Staff Also On J.
