San Francisco Supervisor Hillary Ronen was among the speakers as the Jewish Community Relations Council hosted a Jewish Heritage Month celebration at City Hall.

The children’s choir from Congregation Emanu-El performed in the event, held May 24 and co-sponsored by Mayor Ed Lee and Supervisors Aaron Peskin and Ronen.

More than 350 years of Jewish contributions to U.S. culture are celebrated each May during the national month of recognition.
