Jewish Family and Children’s Services’ Sonoma office will host a series of free workshops to help North Bay homeowners impacted by the deadly wildfires in October. Led by attorney Scott Glovsky, the workshops will cover topics of interest to those who lost their homes or suffered fire damage, including how to work with insurance companies. Among the topics to be discussed: how to get maximum value of a property insurance claim, how insurance companies determine value of properties, and what to do when an insurer refuses to pay for fire damage. Daytime sessions take place Dec. 7, 8, 13 and 14; evening sessions take place Dec. 7, 13 and 14, all at the JFCS office located at 1360 N. Dutton Ave., Suite C, Santa Rosa.
