San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living (formerly the Jewish Home) is called home by older adults of all income levels, including some 1,800 residents and clients seeking short-term care and those in need of acute psychiatric care. The renovation to update the existing 230 skilled-nursing and 120 short-stay rehabilitation suites, along with 115 assisted-living apartments and 75 memory care suites was mostly completed this summer, and they are now welcoming residents to the Lynne and Roy M. Frank Residences community.  SFCJL residents enjoy a plethora of social activities and Judaica classes, with a rabbi on staff.

Returnees to the J. Readers’ Choice awards along with the delightful Jewish Heritage Museum it houses, is the Reutlinger Community. The Danville-based community provides a continuum of care, including assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care and short- and long-term rehabilitation. Known for their kosher cuisine and on-staff rabbi, they also have an award-winning art program that includes residents’ exhibited artwork.
