Dayenu, a conveniently located shop inside the JCC of San Francisco, has easy, underground parking — a plus for any San Francisco shopping trip! The shop offers ritual objects for Shabbat and holidays; items for lifecycle events, including chuppah rentals; gifts made by Israeli and American artists, as well as artists from developing countries; Jewish-themed books; and cellphone rentals for trips to Israel.

An incredibly complete store for all your Shabbat, Hanukkah, Passover and other holiday needs, in addition to general Judaica for the home and simcha events. Rent your chuppah for your wedding! Beautiful choice of ketubahs and other wedding needs, plus a broad selection of Jewish books covering a plethora of topics. Jewish wearables include various choices of tallit, kippahs and the like. Just about anything you can think of that’s Jewish, Afikomen carries it (or can order it for you).

This shop, operated by the Peninsula Sinai Women’s group, remains popular with J. readers. It becomes a holiday boutique for many beautiful items needed for the High Holidays, Hanukkah, Passover and of course Shabbat. Check with the shul for hours and schedule.



Rodef Sholom Gift Shop

Now online for curbside pickups, the gift shop in the lobby of the Osher Marin JCC in San Rafael is run by volunteers from Women of Rodef Sholom to support synagogue and Jewish community projects. The shop favors made-in-Israel merchandise and Fair Trade Judaica.
