Kosher wines from Napa Valley are the hallmark of Hagafen Cellars, a perennial J. Readers’ Choice. The winery, founded in 1979, produces gold medal-winning Napa Valley varietals that are kosher for Passover and year-round. New releases include a 2019 Malbec, 2019 Cabernet Franc, and a 2020 Dry Riesling. Owner Ernie Weir is involved in both sides of wine production: grape growing and winemaking. Outdoor tasting room is open to the public by reservation.
