San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living (formerly the Jewish Home, founded in 1871) is called home by older adults of all income levels. The Campus, including the new Frank Residences and Byer Square which opened in 2020, serves more than 2,500 people annually on the nine-acre San Francisco campus. This number is comprised of residents, clients seeking short-term care and those in need of acute psychiatric care. Byer Square is a wonderful facility that provides fitness and wellness opportunities, outpatient services, and is open to the broader community in addition to residents.

It is clear that J.’s readers love and appreciate the Reutlinger Community in their area, as it appears year after year in Readers’ Choice. The Danville-based community provides a continuum of care, with assisted- living services in 48 one-bedroom and studio apartments, and enhanced care for residents requiring more day-to-day personal care in 16 one-bedroom and studio apartments. Pre-memory care for 20 residents in either private or shared rooms is also available. Reutlinger is known for the kosher cuisine they provide, an on-staff rabbi, along with the award-winning Jewish Heritage Museum on its grounds.

The Moldaw Residences are once again on the pages of J.’s Readers’ Choice.
