Sunday, April 7

Passover in the Park — Pre-holiday celebration and haroset tasting with snacks and a craft. Presented by PJ Library. Bring your favorite haroset to share. At Larkey Park, Walnut Creek. 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Free.

Passover Fun for Families — Holiday event with Passover-themed stories, songs and seder crafts. For families with 2- to 8-year-olds. Presented by PJCC and PJ Library. At the Reading Bug, 785 Laurel St., San Carlos. 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Free.

Sunday Fun Day: Get Ready for Passover — Passover celebration with music, puppets, stories, schmoozing, snacks and crafts led by Jen Altman of Jewish Baby Network, Melita Silberstein of Wilderness Torah and Rebecca Feigelson of PJ Library. Passover Pajama Party––Passover-themed crafts, music and stories plus a breakfast-themed dinner. For babies and children through second grade, with their adults. Matzah Baby Boogie — Jewish Baby Network and Carolyn Mulcahy of Congregation Sherith Israel host Passover celebration with stories, songs, dancing and seder plate craft. At Sherith Israel, 2266 California St., S.F. 10-11:30 a.m. Free, registration requested.

CKids Seder Circus — Chabad of Napa Valley presents an interactive circus-themed Passover event with meal. At Chabad of Napa Valley, 2025 Redwood Road 7, Napa. 4:30-6 p.m. $10, includes dinner. RSVP to [email protected]

Sunday, April 21

Passover Party — Jewish Baby Network and Rabbi Sam Luckey of Kehilla Synagogue host Passover celebration with music, dancing, singing, matzah cover-making craft and goody bags. At Lake Temescal, 6502 Broadway Terrace, Oakland. 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Free. 

A Passover Playground — Interactive Passover experience and party for families with holiday-themed activities including singing, pyramid building and matzah making with Micah Siva. Tot Shabbat Passover Edition—Passover-themed program for families with children 5 and under with story time, songs and food. Bring unopened packs of diapers, wipes and formula to donate to Ayudando Latinos A Soñar, an organization in Half Moon Bay that works directly with individuals and families. “1, 2, 3 Nosh With Me” —Storytime with J. contributor Micah Siva of Nosh With Micah featuring her children’s book, “1, 2, 3, Nosh with Me,” which teaches counting skills and introduces kids to Jewish cuisine and holidays. A Seat at the Table Books, Laguna Springs Drive, Elk Grove. 11:30-12 p.m.

¡Cantamos! — Mexican Jewish singer and children’s educator Aviva Jinich leads Passover-themed musical experience featuring songs in Spanish, music from Latin cultures, movement, stories, puppets and multicultural connections to Jewish culture and community. For families with kids 7 and under. Presented by Olamim and JCC East Bay. At JCC East Bay, 1414 Walnut St., Berkeley. 3:30-5 p.m. $18 per family.

Crossing the Red Sea in Foster City — Multi-generational, family friendly celebration of Passover on the water featuring boat rides and an interactive educational program led by Rabbi Laurie Matzkin of Peninsula JCC, Rabbi Elana Zelony of Peninsula Sinai Congregation and Rabbi Rebecca Hecht of Peninsula Temple Beth El. Meet at Edgewater Marina, 1001 Bounty Drive, Foster City. 4-6 p.m. $36 per person, $100 max per household. Advanced registration required.

Tawonga Family Passover — Outdoor interactive Passover experience for families with kids ages 4-10. Activities include making haroset, singing, dancing and creating a gigantic seder plate.
