Weddings
Lizeth Baltadano and Benjamin Hoffman were married on July 25, 2025, at San Francisco City Hall. Ben’s uncle, David Hoffman, was the officiant. The bride is the daughter of Pedro and Lola Baltadano of Santa Barbara and the groom is the son of Daniel Hoffman and the late Catherine Pieck of San Carlos. Liz is an aesthetician in Santa Barbara. Ben is a building automation engineer at UC Santa Barbara. They reside with their two cats, Bear and Wolf, in Santa Barbara.
Births
Lauren and Andrew Benson are overjoyed to announce the arrival of their son, Charles Leon Benson, born on July 19, 2025. Big brother Miles couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome his little brother — he’s ready to play, share his toys and show him the ropes!
Named after his great-grandfather, Leon, Charlie joins a loving family filled with excitement and joy. He is welcomed by his loving Mimis and Papas: Anna and Guy Magnus of Gig Harbor, Washington, and Laurie and Mark Benson of Hillsborough. Aunt Ashley, Uncle Mat, Aunt Lauren, Uncle Nate and Aunt Danielle are also thrilled about the new addition to the family.
