The Reutlinger Community for Jewish Living’s award-winning art program was featured on the Association of Jewish Aging Services’ website.

The Nov. 27 article, titled “Discovering the Artist Within,” included striking color images of work by residents of the Danville center. “Our elder artists walk into our studio with physical, psychological or emotional pain and leave transformed,” program director Betty Rothaus said in the article. “Elders recognize that they feel better after activating and engaging in the creative process and on some level they realize that their energy, when directed through this process, feels self-healing.”
