Marion Anderson, a registered nurse and chair of the MedPals volunteer team at Ashby Village in Berkeley, will give a talk titled “Making the Most of Your Doctors’ Visits” on Sunday, April 14 at Congregation Beth El in Berkeley.

MedPals volunteers go to medical appointments with members of Ashby Village,  a  nonprofit that supports independent and healthy living for seniors in their own homes. The volunteers offer support, rides to and from appointments, and more. Dr. Neil Gozan, a Beth El member who works primarily with geriatric patients, will be present for a Q&A, along with MedPals team members, following Anderson’s talk.

The meeting takes place from 3 to 5 p.m. at Beth El, 1301 Oxford St., Berkeley.
