The organizers of the Mensch of the Month charity wall calendar — which featured 12 single Jewish men in each of its first two years — have announced they are opening up their 2014 calendar to all genders.
“We are looking for single Jews of all self-identified genders and all orientations currently living the Bay Area,” organizers Dana Hall and Lauren Zabel note. “You should be doing good work for the community, environment or world in some way (i.e. being a mensch).”
