Kehilla Community Synagogue’s Pop-Up Shabbat — a Friday night outdoor service followed by dinner from an assembly of several food trucks — is set to return on May 10.
Rabbi Dev Noily will lead the 6 p.m. service outside the Studio One Art Center, 365 45th St., Oakland. People can bring portable chairs, but it is not required.
After the short service, attendees can buy dinner from Bites Off Broadway, a family-friendly food truck gathering that is making its return after six months off. People also can bring their own food.
Participants need not be members of the Piedmont synagogue to attend. For information, visit www.bit.ly/11xgApM or call (510) 547-2424.
