Jewish Family and Children’s Services is looking for volunteers for a program that helps eligible San Francisco residents become U.S. citizens. Pathways to Citizenship is a new $1.2 million, three-year initiative, and the S.F.-based JFCS has been invited to participate.

JFCS is seeking volunteers for the next free naturalization clinic, which is scheduled on Aug. 10 at One South Van Ness Ave. Volunteers will register applicants; manage traffic flow; serve as interpreters in many languages, including Russian; and help fill out paperwork.

Volunteers are needed from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m., which includes 90 minutes of training. Snacks will be served. To sign up, visit www.tinyurl.com/natzvolunteer. For more information, call (415) 449-1288 or email [email protected].
