The Jewish Coalition for Literacy, which helps Bay Area elementary schoolchildren learn to read, has announced its next lineup of training sessions for new tutors. No experience is necessary.
Tutors are asked to work one hour a week with a disadvantaged student in grade K-3. JCL recruits, trains, places and supports tutors in schools and after-school programs throughout the Bay Area.
