This year, as part of it 125-film lineup, the annual Napa Valley Film Festival will present “Jewish Heritage — Old and New,” a series of Jewish-themed films. The festival runs Nov. 13-17 at various locations.

Films include the 2012 American comedy “Putzel”; “American Jerusalem,” a documentary that recounts the history of Jews in San Francisco; “March of the Living,” about young people and Holocaust survivors visiting the death camps in Poland; and “The Other Side,” the story of Israeli and Palestinian children seeking common ground by playing soccer.

The festival includes visiting filmmakers, juried and audience awards, a culinary stage and food-and-wine-tastings. For information, visit www.napavalleyfilmfest.org.
