Zohar Ben-David of Sunnyvale (left) watches as a dreidel is produced in a 3-D printer at Chabad of Sunnyvale’s fifth-night lighting in downtown Mountain View in Dec. 1. The 3-D printing process, or additive manufacturing, allows for the making of a three-dimensional solid object of virtually any shape from a digital model.
These dreidels (left) are all copies of originals. The event also featured a visit from Judah Maccabee (Eric Katz of Cupertino, bottom left), who was declared victorious by Chabad Rabbi Yisroel Hecht.
