A two-hour session for parents seeking information about summer Jewish sleep-away camps is slated for Sunday, Jan. 5, at Congregation Beth Ami in Santa Rosa.

Camps participating in the fair include Camp Ramah, Camp Newman, the JCC Maccabi Sports Camp, Camp Tawonga and the summer programs of United Synagogue Youth.

There will also be information on the S.F.-based Jewish Community Federation’s “1 Happy Camper” program (up to a $1,000 grant for families who are sending a child to a nonprofit, Jewish overnight camp for the first time), and information about other scholarships, too.

The session, which runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., is free; light snacks will be provided. Congregation Beth Ami is located at 4676 Mayette Ave., Santa Rosa. For more information, call (707) 360-3000.
