UpStart Bay Area, an S.F.-based incubator of innovative nonprofits that aim to expand Jewish life, has begun accepting applications for its next cohort of budding Bay Area Jewish entrepreneurs.

Members of the 2014-15 cohort will participate in workshops and receive mentoring, from professionals and alumni, to help develop their business plans and raise funds. In addition, participants may be eligible for a $5,000 accelerator grant.

Past UpStart beneficiaries have included Urban Adamah, G-dcast, Fair Trade Judaica, Kevah, Moishe House, the Jewish Partisan Educational Foundation, Wilderness Torah and Jewish Gateways.

To schedule a pre-application interview, call (415) 536-5918 or write to [email protected]. Completed applications will be due by March 14. For more information, visit www.upstartbayarea.org.
