When building a menorah, it’s best to have the materials close at hand, which is why Sonoma County Chabad scheduled a menorah-making workshop at Home Depot in Windsor. Children used pre-cut pieces of wood that they painted and nailed together, and everyone enjoyed doughnuts and latkes, as well. The Nov. 22 event drew about 50 kids and their families.
