Episode #84: “Mourning Bowie, plus Obama’s SOTU”
A strangely manic Rosen wants badly to engage with the State of the Union address, but first the boys must complete a respectful David Bowie mourning period. Once that’s (mostly) out of the way, they move onto the meat of this week’s show, namely asking if:
Two of President Obama’s four SOTU points are good for the Jews?
… being careful to consider the ins and outs of the “Obama Doctrine” (especially as it applies — or doesn’t) to the Middle East and the sincerity of the President’s request that politics “reflect what’s best in us,” acknowledging the reality of trash-talking Presidents and stone-faced members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, then taking us home with some vintage Thin White Duke, as is only right.
