… being careful to consider the ins and outs of the “Obama Doctrine” (especially as it applies — or doesn’t) to the Middle East and the sincerity of the President’s request that politics “reflect what’s best in us,” acknowledging the reality of trash-talking Presidents and stone-faced members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, then taking us home with some vintage Thin White Duke, as is only right.
