Kaddish was said over 100 copies of the “Book of Memory,” which lists the names of more than 100,000 Jewish Soviet Army soldiers who died in World War II but were never identified by the Soviets as Jews and didn’t receive proper Jewish burials. The ceremony took place May 15 at the World War II veterans’ plot at Hills of Eternity Memorial Park in Colma.
