Closing the book on 2015-16. Now that everyone has read and discussed Primo Levi’s “The Periodic Table,” One Bay One Book is ending its 2015-16 program by looking at Italy’s Piedmont region — where Levi is from — through a musical lens. Francesco Spagnola, curator of the Magnes Collection of Jewish Art and Life in Berkeley, will address the area’s Jewish history, and Cantor Sharon Bernstein will supplement some archival musical recordings by singing Jewish Italian songs.

In a gallery talk for the Bill Graham exhibit, actor Peter Coyote will be reminiscing about the rock ’n’ roll impresario and San Francisco in the ’60s with David Talbot, author of “Summer of Love.” Fifty years ago, Coyote (then Peter Cohon) was a member of the San Francisco Mime Troupe, for which Graham produced a benefit show in 1965 — his first concert.
