Be’chol Lashon
Be’chol Lashon (Hebrew for “in every language”) celebrates and prioritizes diversity as a Jewish value by uplifting the historic and contemporary racial, ethnic and cultural diversity of the Jewish people and, in doing so, strengthens the entire Jewish community.
Jews are more diverse than many assume. Research shows that 20 percent of American Jews identify as Black, Asian, Latinx, mixed-race, Sephardi and/or Mizrachi. This organization brings the historic Jewish commitment to civil rights and racial justice into the 21st century by embracing the growing ethnic and racial diversity of the Jewish community today through intermarriage, conversion and adoption.
Amplifies the voices of diverse Jews and works with Jewish organizations to position them to be more welcoming and inclusive of the entire Jewish community.
