URJ Camp Newman
Each summer at this Jewish overnight camp and retreat center in Santa Rosa, kids entering grades 2–12 and young adults have sacred time and space to be part of a joyful, expansive, diverse Jewish community. Camp is often described as the Shabbat of the year: a dedicated period of rest and reconnection. The confidence, self-awareness, empathy and problem-solving skills gained at camp empower both campers and staff to return home ready to help make the world a better place.
