An international, nonpartisan education organization that educates about Israel and fights antisemitism. Based in San Francisco and covering the Bay Area, Sacramento and beyond, the StandWithUs Northern California office equips students, professionals and community members with the tools to educate, advocate, combat antisemitism and stand up for Israel, whether on campus, in the broader community or online. StandWithUs supports students and communities with leadership training and educational programs on college campuses, high schools and middle schools, while informing through social media, print and digital materials, films, weekly newsletters and missions to Israel.

Founded in 2001, StandWithUs has programs on six continents with chapters and offices throughout the United States, Israel, the Netherlands, the U.K., Canada, Brazil, Australia and South Africa. The San Francisco office covers Northern California north of San Luis Obispo.

Registered as a U.S. 501 (c)(3) nonprofit, StandWithUs has consistently received the highest possible ratings from Charity Navigator and GuideStar and is ranked among the top 7 percent of charities in the country.

The organization does not and has never advocated specific policies for Israel. Its work and respect for Israel’s democratically elected government are not contingent on which parties are in power. Its goal is to counter antisemitism, educate the public about Israel, empower others to educate their communities, and make it possible to have reasonable, informed conversations about Israel’s history, policies and humanitarian aid on campuses and in communities around the world.
