Serves the Peninsula, San Francisco, Marin and the East Bay. Supports expecting parents and families with pre-preschool children. Everyone is welcome, including unaffiliated, single- and multi-parent, multi-faith, multiethnic, multi-abled and LGBTQ families. Connects families to one another and to their local Jewish communities through programs, introductions and resources. Offers free Jewish holiday celebrations, Shabbat programs and playgroups that are baby-friendly and fun for the whole family. Hosts Jewish birth prep workshops and newborn playgroups for expecting and new parents and provides an online community and website with many resources. Provides free Shalom Baby bags with gifts and useful items for families with newborns. Currently offers a mix of indoor and outdoor events.
