Engagements
Lisa Levin of Corte Madera and Steven Katz of Scottsdale, Arizona, are thrilled to announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebekah Jaclyn Katz, to Joel Brian Fisch, son of Charles and Paula Fisch of Scarsdale, New York. Rebekah and Joel met in Washington, D.C. Rebekah has a BA in communications, an emphasis in sports media, and a minor in entrepreneurship from USC. Joel has a BA in philosophy, a minor in business from Brandeis University, and a JD from George Washington University. The couple plans to marry back East in early 2025, surrounded by loving family and many adoring friends.
Weddings
Olivia Selwitz and Alexander Goody were married in Las Vegas on April 27. Rabbi Michael Mayersohn of Los Alamitos officiated. The bride is the daughter of L. Jay and Yolanda Selwitz of Orinda. The groom is the son of Jonathan Jay and Elisa Goody of Las Vegas (formerly of Piedmont). Grandparents of the couple, Ruth Selwitz and Hannah Goody, were in attendance. Included in the wedding party were the couple’s siblings, Harrison Selwitz, Lauren Goody and Michael Goody. The couple honeymooned in South Africa and will reside in San Francisco.
