Correction
Because of an editing error, the Dec. 1 Bulletin misidentified the purpose of the Nov. 27 Berkeley Zoning Adjustments Board meeting on Congregation Beth El’s proposed new synagogue. The purpose was to decide whether to certify the environmental impact report. The board postponed its decision until Dec. 14. The Bulletin regrets the error.
