Yaron Deckel and Gil Hoffman, two Israeli journalists, will be in town for a number of speeches in the next two weeks.

At 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, Deckel, the Washington bureau chief of the Israeli Broadcasting Authority, will appear at the JCC of San Francisco; tickets are $5. He will make a free speech one day later at the Palo Alto JCC at 7:30 p.m. At 5 p.m. Thursday, April 27, he will make another free speech at U.C. Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism. Hoffman, political correspondent and columnist for the Jerusalem Post, will speak at Congregations Sherith Israel in San Francisco and Beth El in Berkeley on Thursday, May 4 about post-election Israel.

The community gathering and kosher continental breakfast is sponsored by the Jewish National Fund.
