Jewish environmental leaders and activists are invited to attend a leadership training on Tuesday, Dec. 22, at Berkeley Hillel.

The workshop will be led by Canfei Nesharim, a New York–based nonprofit that connects traditional Jewish sources (such as the Torah) to modern environmental issues.

The training aims to provide educators and environmentalists with the tools to create effective, efficient and powerful Jewish environmental programs and lessons for schools and the community.

The training runs from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Berkeley Hillel, 2736 Bancroft Way, Berkeley. It is free and dinner is included.
