S.F.-based Jewish Vocational Service will honor four employees of the year and present an award for business leadership at its 18th annual Strictly Business luncheon on April 12.
The employee of the year awards are given to individuals who, despite obstacles, landed jobs and are now making a difference after coming to JVS for assistance. This year’s winners: Marti Valentine of Kelly Services; Mayra Baneulos of Farella, Braun and Martel LLP; William Green of Deeelish Meals Made Easy; and Olga Kashirtseva of Blood Centers of the Pacific.
In addition, California Pacific Medical Center–St. Luke’s Campus will be honored for its investment in the future by creating opportunities for some of the city’s most vulnerable youth.
