Burglars ransacked the offices of BlueStar in San Francisco’s Financial District, stealing computers, video cameras and other electronic equipment. The break-in took place sometime between the evening of Dec. 23 and the afternoon of Dec. 26.
BlueStar president Jonathan Carey said police characterized the incident as a “garden-variety robbery,” and not a crime related to the pro-Israel marketing and advocacy done by BlueStar.
Carey estimated losses at around $12,000, but added that all computer data had been backed up and no personal information had been compromised.
