The Get Fed program of the S.F.-based Jewish Community Federation will mark Tu B’Shevat with its second annual Plant the Dream: A Tu B’Shevat Outdoor Celebration and Service Project, beginning 10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 23.
Participants will plant trees in San Francisco’s Holly Park to help the city’s recreation and parks department beautify its landscape. Closed-toe shoes, long pants and layers are recommended, as the event will happen rain or shine. Tu B’Shevat snacks and musical guests will also be on the menu for the day.
