Tri-Valley Cultural Jews will hold a meeting to introduce its Jewish Culture School and the secular Jewish movement. The meeting will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 11 at the Bothwell Center, 2466 8th St., Livermore. A light brunch is included, and children’s activities will be available.

Tri-Valley Cultural Jews describes itself as “a secular Humanistic community serving those who identify with the Jewish People through family, culture and history, rather than through religion.”

Its Jewish Culture School meets two Sunday mornings a month in Castro Valley and focuses on Jewish history, music, literature and ethics. A new session beginning Sept. 25 focuses on Jews around the world, featuring crafts and food from various Jewish cultures.

The school is open to children ages 5 to 14, from Jewish, interfaith and non-traditional families and households. For more information, call (925) 485-1049 or email [email protected].
