Forty-five years after the reunification of Jerusalem marked a turning point in Israel’s history, the Jewish National Fund has organized an Israel mission to commemorate the anniversary.
Next year’s “Road to Jerusalem” mission, May 15 to 22, is an eight-day, seven-night educational tour of the historical battle sites of the Six-Day War. Participants will visit an Israel Defense Forces base for a tour with soldiers, travel the Negev Desert and Golan Heights, and join Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Shimon Peres and others at a special anniversary ceremony at Ammunition Hill.
