The S.F.-based Israeli consulate closed for the day Nov. 4 and the entire staff volunteered at the St. Anthony Dining Room in San Francisco. The consulate staff prepped for the Schuman Meal, one of five gourmet meals St. Anthony’s serves annually, then helped serve the meals and sat down to eat with the guests.
