Urban Adamah, the Berkeley-based community organic farm and Jewish environmental education center, is accepting applications for its spring and summer 2012 fellowships.
The three-month residential programs follow a leadership training curriculum, incorporating community service, sustainable agriculture and Jewish study. Fellows live in a communal house in Berkeley; food, rent and utilities are covered by the $1,295 fellowship fee.
Young adults ages 20 to 29 are encouraged to apply. Applications are due by Monday, Nov. 21 and the organization will select its 12 spring fellows by Dec. 10. For more information or an application, call (510) 649-1595 or visit www.urbanadamah.org.
