David Dusang, who was known as “The Jewish Bomber” during his boxing career in western Canada, died Nov. 17 at 51 in a car crash.

A welterweight, Dusang once was USA Boxing’s mid-American titleholder. His professional record was 11-2 with six knockouts. His boxing shorts were emblazoned with a Magen David and his nickname.

After his boxing career, Dusang went into sports marketing and was vice president of sales and marketing for the Toronto Blue Jays. — jta
