Remembering Leyke
Leyke Post was prominent in Yiddish culture
for five decades. She starred in Yiddish radio shows in the United States from the 1920s to the 1950s and continued to perform into the next decade, capping her career in two Woody Allen movies. Her son, Henry Carrey, will pay homage to his mother by sharing anecdotes about her life and singing some of the most memorable songs from her repertoire.
